SUPPORT

Supporters like you make it possible for our team to champion equine welfare and provide prosocial equine-assisted education and therapeutic activities to as many participants as possible, no matter what their personal circumstances may be.

We invite you to join us in our charitable missions, and below are just some of the ways you can support our 501(c)(3) program through donating, sponsoring, volunteering, or attending one of our fun filled events!

If you have any questions, or would like to get involved in other ways – please do get in touch via our contact page.

It’s time for a barn raising, and we hope you will join us!

After 15 years of providing educational and therapeutic equine activities in the Southeast of Ohio our team have been working with architects to design a facility that will benefit our base of amazing students year round. Designed with our programs, and future programs in mind this accessible facility will truly change how we operator at the program, and allow us to serve more members of the local and surrounding communities.

While we raise funds our team of certified instructors have begun recruiting other equine professionals including veterinarians, farriers, dentists, and more as we move towards expanding our educational offerings at Stargazey’s Equine Therapy.

We appreciate your support, and welcome your donation. Donations can be made online via Paypal or mailed to our office (Stargazey’s Equine Therapy, 1322 Country Club Rd, Jackson, OH, 45640).

For more information about how to get involved in other ways we encourage you to contact us.

RECENTLY FUNDED

Stargazey’s Equine Therapy would like to thank The J. Floyd Dixon Memorial Fund of The Columbus Foundation for supporting us in their 2024 grant cycle! These funds will be used to purchase an Equicizer to utilize in our educational and therapeutic equine activities.

This amazing piece of equipment will allow our instructors to work with our therapeutic clients in a new way. The Equicizer not only offers a new approach to building confident students, it offers a safe environment for therapeutic exercises, and provides our instructors opportunities to create alternative strategies for students’ unique therapeutic goals.

In addition to the therapeutic benefits this mechanical equine will bring to our program, it also allows us to be more inclusive of riders of all sizes and physical abilities, with the chance to provide tandem riding sessions for students who require additional support when riding.

Needless to say, this unique pony will provide countless opportunities for current and future students for years to come!

Currently in production with the Equicizer Company we hope to collect this lovely new horse in October. For now we are taking name suggestions, and welcome you to contribute your idea! The winning name will take pride of place on his commemorative plaque thanking The J. Floyd Dixon Memorial Fund for their support.
