Stargazey’s Equine Therapy is a registered PATH Intl. Member Center, EAGALA Program, and Licensed Overseas Pony Club UK’s Centre which was established in 2010 with the mission to provide prosocial Equine-Assisted education and therapeutic activities for individuals of all ages and abilities.
Our tailored programs focus on providing a comprehensive curriculum to build the knowledge and skills to aid in personal development, overcome participants’ unique challenges, and achieve personal goals. The safety and well-being of our participants and horses are our foremost concerns, and we seek to provide an inclusive, fun, and accessible environment for all. You can read more about our equine programs here.
In addition to our prosocial education and therapeutic activities, we endeavor to provide new opportunities for equines in need through our Rescue and Revocation program. Our R&R program ensures that all equines are provided with the care and training they require to be happy, healthy, and adoptable. We have had great success working with our R&R candidates, and many graduate their training and continue to work in Equine-assisted activities with their new adoptive homes. In alignment with our mission to support both people and equines, Stargazey’s also offers our training program to horses and ponies of all ages. We specialize in foundational groundwork, manners, desensitization, confidence-building, and preparation for both in-hand and under-saddle or harness work. Young horses, including weanlings through three-year-olds, are welcomed for early education and non-weight-bearing activities, while horses aged four and older may begin formal saddle or harness training. Our individualized approach ensures that each equine receives the support they need to become calm, capable partners—whether destined for therapeutic work, the show ring, or a loving family home.
